Purdy Toes

Well, since the hubster and I are going to Las Vegas on a little getaway I decided to get my toes done. I tried to do it myself but my eyes are not as good as they used to be and making cute little flowers is getting more and more difficult, so I spend the $10.00 it costs to have my toes look purdy. At least as nice as they CAN look. It makes sandal wearing a little less ugly. The green was something unique I guess and I actually kind of like it. So now when I put on my cute sandals my toes will look their best. It is a little bit of pampering that I allow myself on occasion. I don't do my fingernails that often because a manicure doesn't last as long. For some reason, toenails hold the polish much better than fingernails. Could be the constant washing of the hands or the oils that come out (feet seem a lot dryer than hands) after washing. Who knows, but a pedicure is nice and it lasts for quite some time. So for fancy dinners, vacations, or just to treat myself a pedicure is a nice way to give myself a pat on the back!

They do look purdy.

My pinky toes are so curled that the toenail really can't be painted (from the side they look like a little bottlenosed dolphin).
So they paint the actual toe when they do my pinky toes. That doesn't last very long.

I find the metallic nail polish is super durable. Your green looks a little metallic to me.

Very nice! And pedicures are a very nice pat on the back. Every mom deserves one here & there!
