From Oak Glen to Brea
So while I was at Oak Glen I painted a birdfeeder and a birdhouse and some river stones. It was a lot of fun and I came up with my own design, which if you look closely at the second photo, you will see what looks like a pocket with a bandana sticking out of it. That is my Denim birdfeeder. I painted it a nice blue and then made pockets on either side to look like jeans. I enjoyed making it and the birds really like visiting it, as you can see! My birdfeeder tower is a little rickety to say the least, but I had to put it on something! No trees! So now we can look out the window and watch the birds eating. The minute we go outside the birds fly away. I was able to get this bird while I was in the back of the excursion, I cracked the back door open and very very slowly brought the camera out and got my shot! Enjoy!

Cute!
So here they tell us to leave the bird houses just plain wood colored, so they blend with the trees.
I don't think there's a color restriction on feeders though.
I've also seen ceramic ones, that are just a cup & saucer on a brass pole. You put the seed in the cup. I think you need a real English Garden for that kind of feeder though.
I really like yours!
:)
I was going to post something but I dont want Tina to hit me.
What? You were going to laugh at my oddly put together stand? Or something else?
I made the stand myself out of old awning piping and a boxtop. Apoxy is a great tool!
