Sacramento - Sutter's Fort - Part 9
So this was at Sutter's Fort. This is the kids getting a little loopy. The boys were extremely reluctant to get in a photo with the girls so they were a little goofy. Which is fine. It makes for an interesting photo.
Working hard! This is a mill where they apparently ground meal into flour. The kids all thought this was soooo cool. I wonder if they would have thought so if they had to do it for 8 hours a day?
Ok, this one should have been first, but I don't know how to do that so, this is when we first arrived and they kids all gathered around for a photo. This one was the best of the bunch but it is missing one boy and the teacher. Oh well. You wouldn't know to look anyway!
