Ack! Back to School!
Not so bad the kids going back, but I have to go back too! The kids played a lot of legos on our Christmas vacation so I thought the clipart was appropriate for my state of mind. My class is still probably the most challenging in the 4 years of teaching and I am guessing next year will not be any better because of the age of the children coming in to this years 3's program!
But I will have to make do with what I get, and try to be the best teacher I can be! My New Years Resolution is to try and be more positive....wait...did I blow it already? Oh well, so starting now anyway...

It's not just you... our whole GS leader meeting last night was about being more positive.

Good luck in the new year! I'm not hopeful about my position. I can "make it work" but I don't think we are able to get the students what they need to be successful. Feels like we're just babysitting them & hoping they don't blow up on us. *sigh* I'm looking for something else...

I'm so sorry! It sounds like you have even more stress than I do!
Did my MRI today. Weird, not good for those who may be claustrophobic! My head was in the hole for 1/2 hour! The worst part was when I had an itch or felt like I needed to cough!

Otherwise no biggie.
I go in on Thursday to get the results.

I have a big, fat blister on my sternum where the dermatologist blasted it with liquid nitrogen. It was a flat patch of skin that had changed color & got a little bumpy. The biopsy (which also hurt) showed "pre-cancerous" cells, so they made it be frost-bitten yesterday to kill off the rest of it.

But, it's better than the alternative!!

For me, being positive is more of a daily resolution than an annual one. It's easier in small chunks.

I am trying to be positive every day, really! And yes, a daily resolution is a better way to put it. I am thinking of a new mantra for myself, since my negativity usually comes from frustration and I usually end up complaining about it... : (
So the new mantra is: "Think positive and keep your big mouth shut" Not a very positive mantra, hmmm...maybe "Take a deep breath and think positive"? I'll take anyone else's, give me what you got!
