Oak Glen 2008So another weekend at Oak Glen....
It was beautiful weather if you like it cold and then warmer in the afternoon. I prefer it cold all day, but hey, I really can't complain, it was very nice. As you can see we had a nice little cozy cabin, and we took our usual family photo for my scrapbook. The pointy building is the chapel where all of our services were (or meetings) and it is wonderful being in that building with God's nature all around...very peaceful. We always have a relaxing time. There is something about being there that refreshes and renews. The kids always have fun too! They can pretty much run around wherever they choose. The only other people there are those that work the camp and they are all really nice and we have been coming here for the last 8 years or so and they all comment on how much they have grown! We wouldn't miss it for anything!

So where is Oak Glen? Is that the place up by Redding? Seems like that would be a long trip. I can't remember...
Looks like a very nice time. No snow tho...
no, it is just in the San Bernardino mountains, about a 2-3 hour drive, although this time it was 4 hours due to Thursday night traffic and construction.
And there was a tiny patch of leftover snow that we took a photo of. Silly huh?
